Here is another installment of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) August preview, no need for any special introduction about SSMS tool as it provides/manages any sort of work for a SQL Server user not specific to Developers or DBAs.
This release has level of support for working with latest cloud features in Azure SQL database. To be precise the following a new enhancements in this release:
- Object explorer – Loading delays have been reduced when there are a large number of databases.
- Windows 10 – Improvements for installing SSMS on Windows 10.
- Bug Fixes – SQL Server Configuration Manager and user reports UI fixes.

This version of SQL Server Management Studio is supported side-by-side with earlier released versions installed on the same machine.
